Of the three, only the center square is actually a square. All four sides of the center square were made from six feet of rope, while the lengths of rope used to create the sides of the right and left ‘squares’ varied from six to sixty feet. The left ‘square’ more closely approximates a trapezoid (a four sided figure with exactly one pair of parallel sides), and the right ‘square’ is a quadrilateral polygon with four unequal sides.
